Aleana Originals is my dream come true. I was born in the Wallowa Mountain country of the Pacific North West. My earliest memories are of drawing. My grandfather taught me how to use nature's materials not only as sources of artist tools but also subjects to be illustrated. Into the Native spiritual as well as the realm of today. I do not have to find myself in the mood to paint, create, as I am always in the mood. I am fascinated by all around me. I have a great love of researching this world, living this life.

I do not specialize in any one subject or media, I work with matching the subject with the media, or mixed media, that best benefits the work I am on. The following are the pieces I have chosen to share with you this first time....

Mountain Lion at winter water hole. The original is not for sale, prints are available. This original piece has quite a history, traveled to Oregon and Washington and now is on display in Alaska.
