Welcome to Bonnie's Best! I am a company of one although I do hire people on a part time basis to fulfill larger orders. The design of each jacket is solely mine. Although I can duplicate jackets to a degree, my policy is never to create carbon copies. There will always be something different about each creation. Each jacket requires 15 to 20 hours of creation. A technique called blooming is used to create the unique pattern on the white or cream side of each coat. All edges are clipped so that after washing, soft fringes surround the jacket.
I love special orders in which a customer relates favorite colors, hobbies, animals, etc. Taking this information I can then create a one of a kind coat specifically for that person. I also make vests and pillows using the same techniques.

Folk print, reversible, 100% cotton jacket. The reverse side of this jacket is embroidered with the words to "Summertime" by George Gershwin encircling the complete neck and lower edge. Totally handcrafted and completely washable.

I call this "Beneath the Sea". One side features a teal green sea scape complete with fabric constructed floating seaweed and button and fabric "sea creatures". The reverse side is a tropical print. "Seaflower" buttons and fabric "seaweed" provide neck edge closure for those chilly days at sea. !00% cotton and reversible. Totally handcrafted and completely washable.

This is my "Lake Erie" jacket. Inspired by the beautiful lake near which I have lived for most of my life. This jacket is a crisp royal blue and white. The upper most neck edge is framed with assorted brass buttons from my collection. 100% cotton and reversible. Totally handcrafted and completely washable.
