Who is R. M. Petti?

His name is Rich and he is a 45 year old self-taught woodworker. He started working with wood in the mid 70's as a hobby to relax after stress filled days, (he was working as a Correction Officer is Attica).
As time went by Rich found that his work improved. More and more people wanted him to make things for them. Soon Rich started showing at local craft shows and found that the showing and selling was very pleasing and rewarding. Handcrafted gift items were just what he wanted to do and now here he is on the Internet! Such a small world!
There is one important thing that we have always noticed in the way Rich works with wood. When he designs and build the standards that he sets are very high for a fine crafted product. All items are designed to be useful, many are one of a kind. He always searches for woods that make each project individual. Each piece is hand crafted in his own shop and is finished to show off the beauty of the wood.
