1 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp soda
1 cup oatmeal
6 T sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c butter
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 T water
1/2 c chocolate chips

Combine flour, salt, soda and oatmeal and set aside.

Cream butter, sugars, egg and vanilla together and beat until smooth.

Add cry ingredients plus the tablespoon of water. Add chocolate chips

and then drop by the tablespoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake

10-12 minutes or until lightly brown in a 325 degree oven. Be sure to

store in a tin as they dry out quickly.

*Everyone in my house raved about these cookies! (I took all the

credit...they didn't need to know that they were one of the easiest

cookies that I have ever baked...just a good recipe!)
