We are featuring artist Barbara Steele Thibodeaux in the three prints we have chosen to share with you. She is originally from Ohio, but has spent the last 20 years in the south, in the New Orleans/Mississippi Gulf Coast areas. While there, she became interested in the primitive folk art styles depicting the life of that area from days gone by. She is a self-taught artist who likes to bring her characters to life in a whimsical way. In the past year, she has returned to Ohio, and now lives on a 9 acre farm in a circa 1837 farm house. We hope that you enjoy the prints that we chosen from her "Backroads Series".
